Ariana Grande appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden this Monday for a live, one-take musical re-enactment of Titanic- and it was incredible. The pop princess, playing Rose in early 1900s attire and her signature pony, sang 13 hit songs in front of nine different sets. With James Corden acting as Jack by her side, the duo perfectly and hilariously recreated Jack and Rose's legendary love story.
From the two singing "Come Sail Away" by Styx while boarding the ship to "Shape Of You" by Ed Sheeran while Ariana posed for James' "paint me like one of your French girls" re-enactment to "Ride Wit Me" by Nelly for the iconic car scene, the duo nail the elaborate musical mash-up.
Other songs performed included "Rich Girl"by Hall & Oates, "The Way I Are" by Timbaland, "Learn To Fly" by Foo Fighters, "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga, "Steal My Girl" by One Direction, "Ice Ice Baby" by Vanilla Ice, "Timber" by Pitbull and Kesha, "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley, and "Bye Bye Bye" by NSYNC.
Naturally, Ariana ended the Titanic musical medley by effortlessly belting a chill-inducing version of Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On".
Ariana Grande is set to appear on James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" segment tonight. Her highly anticipated album Sweetener will be released on Friday.
