LyricFind's merchandise service LyricMerch is making it even easier to wear your favorite song on your sleeve.
The world's leader in licensed lyrics has partnered with eBay to create apparel and lifestyle items inspired by fan-favorite hits.
The collaboration, including tailor-made, targeted campaigns for shoppers, is LyricMerch's first marketplace partnership.
"eBay is a trusted online platform for customers looking for unique gifts and niche items, which is what LyricMerch offers,” said founder & CEO of LyricFind and LyricMerch Darryl Ballantyne in a release. “Having our products available on eBay and their global shoppers allows us to lean into a marketplace that already caters to our target audiences, making this a natural partnership.”
As the only producer of fully licensed apparel and lifestyle items with top artists’ lyrics, LyricMerch ensures that royalties from all purchases go to the songwriters and rights holders.
“Licensing a lyric means more than just using it with permission," explained Ballantyne. “When you purchase a LyricMerch T-shirt or mug, your purchase earns money for the writers and teams behind the lyrics.”
As part of the deal, eBay's insights will help better customize LyricMerch to appeal to its customers.
“Shoppers come to eBay for its breadth of rare, unique and right now inventory, from that one ‘I can’t believe I found it’ piece to the latest trending items,” said Chelsea Walsh, senior category manager of media at eBay. “LyricMerch and its range of curated offerings will be perfectly at home on our marketplace, and shoppers will be thrilled to find that perfect piece of apparel or merch that reps their favorite artists.”
Just in time for the holiday season, the first launch from the collaboration includes a gift guide. Check out the collection, which includes a "Thank U, Next" shirt and "Straight Outta Compton" mug, here.
